please stand up

We have had a great weekend filled with lots of fun and lots of hard work. I have been baking away testing out some new recipes to share with y’all. Ian had the camera out taking some pictures of all the action. And after all the hard work, he got some rare pictures of me with sweet Ruthie. (Somehow I am never in the pictures with my kids, maybe that’s because I am usually the one taking the pictures.) In the first two she was talking with Grandma and Grandpa over Skype, showing off her waving abilities. In the following ones we were just getting some cuddles while playing on the floor.

We also celebrated Ruthie’s first time standing up on her own! Only a short while after these pictures, out of nowhere she just decided to pull her self up! Those little moments come and go so quickly but they are so special. Though the progress of our children starts out on such a small scale, we want to celebrate along the whole journey. Standing up is one step closer to changing the world.

I saw your dad post one of these pictures on Facebook. So precious! Job & Ruthie are so cute and such happy babies. Your family is adorable and I can’t wait to watch you all grow over the years. So glad I get to see these little snippets on your blog!

It’s been so fun to keep up with people through their blogs, like you, and for people to be able to keep up with us from across the country! I am so glad I will be able to look back on the blog and have all these memories. Love the new modern day journal! :)
